Because before you set on another path of change, set an intention or goal, you need to get your "why" right.
If resolutions worked, we'd all have met them with success by now. If just setting a new goal worked, we'd all have achieved them by now. I want to help set you on a path of lasting growth and change, fueled by your own personal empowerment.
I've made it no secret that my life took a sudden left turn, starting with the passing of my dad. The conversations we had the last night of his life helped me open my eyes and see clearly for the first time in years. One could say that I had a sudden 2020 vision. I got my core values straight. And in so doing, I realized the reason why I was so unhappy - I was not living in alignment with my core values. So I set on a journey to change that. My marriage ended, I left my job as a national TV Host and moved cross country - all on the heels of my father's passing. It all happened so fast and it was rough. But it had me making empowered decisions for the first time in years. Doing it all on the basis of my core values is what acted as a GPS for all of my decisions during that time. They continue to do so to this day.
I want you making empowered decisions. You'll be amazed by how different a goal, aspiration or changes are when you approach them from your Core Values. It is the first step in creating a 2020 vision for your life here at GGM.
